By using GolfHandicapp, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use GolfHandicapp.

Subscription terms

GolfHandicapp offers an annual subscription at £12.99/year with a 1-month free trial. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device settings.

Handicap calculations

GolfHandicapp provides an unofficial handicap index based on the World Handicap System (WHS) methodology. Our calculations are for personal tracking and recreational use only. For an official handicap, register with your national golf association (e.g. England Golf, USGA). We make reasonable efforts to ensure calculation accuracy but do not guarantee results match official WHS implementations.

User content

You retain ownership of content you create (rounds, reviews, comments). By posting content, you grant GolfHandicapp a licence to display it within the app. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of your content.

Prohibited conduct

You must not: submit false or misleading scores, harass other users, use profanity or offensive language, attempt to access other users' accounts, reverse-engineer the app, or use automated tools to interact with the service.

Intellectual property

GolfHandicapp, its logo, design, and content are owned by us. Course data is sourced from legacy records and user contributions. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

Limitation of liability

GolfHandicapp is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months prior to any claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
