Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to request deletion of your GolfHandicapp account.

How to request deletion

Send an email to support@golfhandicapp.com from the email address associated with your account. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line.

What gets deleted

When we process your deletion request, we permanently remove:

  • Your profile (name, email, photo, handicap data)
  • All your rounds and score history
  • Your comments and reactions on other players' rounds
  • Your course reviews
  • Your follows and followers
  • Your profile photo from storage

What may be retained

  • Anonymised, aggregated statistical data that cannot identify you
  • Records required for legal or regulatory compliance

Before you delete

  • Cancel your subscription first — go to your device Settings > Subscriptions to cancel. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions
  • Your data cannot be recovered after deletion is processed

Processing time

We aim to process deletion requests within 14 days. You will receive a confirmation email when your account has been deleted.
