Following other golfers is how you keep their tournaments and activity in view. Once you follow someone, their events and play show up for you, so you can see who is out on the course and how they got on. Here is how to find people and follow them.
Search for a golfer
- Open the More tab.
- Tap Find users.
- In the search box, type the player's name.
Results start appearing once you have typed at least two letters. Each result shows the golfer's name and, if they have set one, their home club, which helps you tell two people with the same name apart.
Search is by name. If nobody comes up, check the spelling and try just their first name or surname on its own.
View a profile and follow
- Tap a golfer in the list to open their profile.
- Have a look at their handicap, home club, and round history to make sure it is the right person.
- Tap Follow.
That is it. The button switches to Unfollow, which you can tap any time if you want to stop following them.
What following does
Once you follow someone:
- Their tournaments and activity surface for you, so their live and finished events are easy to find.
- You can jump back to their profile whenever you like to see their latest rounds and stats.
You can see who you follow, and who follows you, from your own profile. Tap the followers or following count under your name to open the list, and tap any name to go straight to that golfer's profile.
